Duane was in his first working band at age 18 and at age 20 he moved to Phoenix where he played lead guitar for his father and uncle in a local country band, at the same time playing lead guitar in his heavy metal band. “Most of my earliest memories were of my family playing country music, at the same time I have always been moved by metal style music and Sour Diesel Trainwreck is a blend of my two greatest musical influences.”
